I am very pleased with Doc Kanter and the medical treatment that he has provided me.

Dr. Kanter is not my ""usual"" Wilmer glaucoma provider, but stepped in to do a follow up surgery to repair damage when a shunt failed, and my eye was severely infected. He was concerned, thoroughly explained the surgical options, and scheduled the surgery immediately. The follow up to the surgery was excellent. I knew exactly what I needed to do to assist with recovery at every stage. The result of his skill was recovery of the visual level I had prior to the infection.He is aces in my book.

Dr. Kanter Is reassuring, kind and patient, He takes time to explain any questions asked, and gives straight forward Instructions for at home care.

The visits are short on that side. But he is very understanding, helpful and listens. I am grateful.

Excellent provider! He is overbooked with patients thus causing long delays in being seen. Appointment was 11am, arrived at 10:30am and did not leave doctors office until 12:30pm.

I feel very fortunate to have Dr Kanter as my lead eye care professional. He performed complicated surgery that helped address my advanced Glaucoma condition and indentified a separate condition that caused my vision to be impaired. He recommended me to a retina expert ([staff]) who was able to treat the condition. I couldn't be more pleased with the care I'm receiving from both JHM Doctors.

I'm glad that he will enroll me in the latest technology for determining eye pressure at home.

Good, He wants to perform another procedure to redo a past optical surgery on my left eye. Very good vision on my left eye. So, I will opt out for now. He wants to change my glaucoma eye drops too. The new drops have not yet arrived.

I didn't feel provider really knew my history or reviewed visits with related specialists before recommending something. I had to remind him of what other specialist said, then he pulled up notes and modified his recommendations.

This is a first visit so I cannot be certain about his surgical skills as of this time. He did explain surgical risks but did not explain what kind of surgery for the glaucoma was going to be performed until I asked. He finally explained in layman's terms. I do not know if there is an FAQs brochure provided to clients prior to meeting with the MD. It would be nice if it is disease and surgery specific so clients would be more enlightened as the MD s time is restrained.
