Dr. Deming obtained a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree in 1985 from the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia.  He then completed a 24-month residency in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery at Metropolitan Hospital-Parkview Division in Philadelphia where he received extensive training in forefoot, rearfoot and ankle surgery, limb salvage and wound care, pediatric foot surgery, and trauma. Dr.Deming entered private practice in Montgomery County Maryland in 1987.

Dr. Deming is the 3-time past chair of the Subsection of Podiatric Surgery at Suburban Hospital- Johns Hopkins Medicine and a long-term member of the credentials committee at Suburban where he is an attending member of the medical staff with surgical privileges. He is also a member of the surgical staff of The Suburban Outpatient Surgery Center in Bethesda Maryland.

Dr. Deming is a nationally recognized expert in podiatric standards of care and is a consultant to Forensic Medical Advisory Service, American Forensic Medical Service, and Medilex Corporation.  He has served as a consultant for peer review cases for the US Department of Justice, The Maryland Attorney General's Office, The Veterans Administration, and The US Department of Defense.
