I was very happy with this visit with Dr Ekekwe. We had completed all the tests needed and he determined that there were no problems with my lungs. He offered other diagnoses and treatments to improve my breathing. He also said I did not need to follow up unless needed.

Dr Ekekwe is an awesome physician. His advise and treatment has lead to the relief of my symptoms that affects my breathing and quality of life. He is courteous, professional, and goes above and beyond towards making sure I receive the appropriate diagnosis and medications to treat my condition.

It was a video visit, and I was 25 min late. I think he checked before he left for the day and I was still connected. So, he stayed late for me.

Listened carefully, asked clear and thoughtful questions, and clearly explained what further information he needed to be forwarded so he could provide complete diagnosis and recommendations.

I was very pleased with Dr. Ekekwe. He provided me with information about my condition in understandable terms and helped me to see things more clearly than ever before. He answered my questions and helped me make connections with my condition that I had been overlooking for years. I was impressed with his ability to assess my chart, X-rays, and CPAP data so quickly as a new patient to him for a practice he was taking over. He had an excellent bedside manner which me feel heard. One of the best doctors appointments I have ever had.

On my first visit Dr. Ekekwe prescribed Lunesta which immediately improved my sleep. However it took 5 months after referral from [staff]. Why???

Called provider prior to arrival in case I was late. They told me there was a 10 min window if late that my appointment would get canceled so I panicked a bit and rushed to the office on my 1 hour drive. Even my blood pressure readings were still high from the PA check from that stress. My reaction from that phone call kind of ruined the whole experience but I think that it was mostly unintentional. Dr. Ekekwe assured me later that showing up just 10 min late was nothing to worry about.

The only medical information that was not available at the time of my visit was the results of a sleep study from years ago, taken in the office of another provider, who no longer seems to be practicing.

Provider is extremely professional. Provider generally gives ample background information in an easy-to-understand format so the patient knows what's going on. Provider is compassionate - they listen to patients concerns and addresses those concerns kindly.I wrote that the appointment did not start on time but that's not the fault of the provider.

The provider was highly professional, friendly and knowledgeable. He spent a very satisfactory amount to time reviewing my information, documenting our visit, and recommending and assisting in next steps, including help in obtaining a new medical device for my home use after completing a test at home to baseline my current condition.

Test was ordered but not performed yet. That's why provider hasn't called yet with results. Difficulty getting appointment was an issue with Humana more than with provider.
