Helene C Freeman, MD

Dr. Helene C. Freeman is an internist affiliated with Sibley Memorial Hospital and serves on the board of directors for the Sibley Medical Association. Dr. Freeman has a private practice in Washington, D.C.

Dr. Freeman earned her medical degree from Hahnemann University Hospital. She completed a residency in internal medicine at Georgetown University School of Medicine, where she went on to co-found the internal medicine journal club and become a clinical instructor in medicine. Dr. Freeman also previously served as Sibley Memorial Hospital’s chairman of the internal medicine peer review committee and vice chairman of the department of medicine from 2006 to 2008. In addition, she served as chairman of the department of medicine at Sibley Memorial Hospital and a member of the medical executive committee from 2009 to 2010. 

Dr. Freeman is a fellow of the American College of Physicians and a member of the Osler Medical Society and Cosmos Club. Dr. Freeman has been named one of the Best Doctors in America by Castle Connolly, as well as a Top MD by Washingtonian Magazine.
