Dr. Hwang became my new eye doctor in May. She has done more than anyone other doctor at Hopkins to help my eyes (I have Sjogren's) than anyone else. She has very good energy and an appealing manner. She was the first one willing to try something different which worked so much better for me.

I am so thankful for her thoroughness during the examination. She explained everything well, gave a clear treatment plan, and recommended over-the-counter items I could purchase to help my eyes. She explained the cause of my eye issue as well and how to prevent it from re-occurring. So thankful for her and I highly recommend her to my family and friends.

Most thorough eye exam I have ever had. She explained everything she was doing and why she was doing it. It appeared she cared about my questions and was willing to listen to my nonsense and never did I feel I was being ignored or brushed off. I was absolutely shocked at the level of detail throughout the entire visit.

She did not help me at all. She did not check my glasses for a new prescription.

In terms of communications, Dr. Hwang provided excellent information and was very nice, but it would be helpful if she slowed down her speech pace a little to allow time for a patient to process the new medical information and terms.
