Erica Herdecker, DNP

Nurse practitioner Erica Herdecker provides comprehensive medical management for patients admitted primarily for neurological or neurosurgical conditions, ensuring that complex medical needs are addressed alongside specialized neurologic care. She focuses on the medical comorbidities and systemic conditions that may accompany complex neurologic illness and postoperative recovery, including infections, respiratory complications, cardiovascular and hemodynamic issues, volume status management, and metabolic and electrolyte abnormalities. She also oversees chronic disease management and related systemic complications. She collaborates closely with neurology, neurosurgery and interdisciplinary teams to support medical stabilization and coordinated recovery.
