Dr. Katz is the Medical Director of the Sleep Center at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. He joined the medical staff in 2023. He sees patients at the main campus in St. Petersburg, Florida, as well as at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Outpatient Care, Sarasota.
Dr. Katz earned his medical degree from McGill University. He completed his internship and residency in pediatrics at the University of California, Irvine Medical Center. He also completed a fellowship in pediatric pulmonology at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland.
His clinical interests include sleep-disordered breathing, infant breathing disturbances and hypersomnia. His research interests are focused on the pathophysiology of obstructive sleep apnea in children.
