Explained procedures

I'm very happy with Dr. Edward McFarland, this was my second visit. I researched to determine if he would be able to provide medical care for my reverse total right shoulder arthroplasty surgery. From that surgery I developed significant heterotopic ossification in my soft tissue.

Dr. McFarland is the epitome of a good, attentive physician. He listened to my history, asked focused questions, did a careful physical examination, and made useful, practical recommendations.

Caring and understanding of my condition

My appointment was at 3:30 pm. Another doctor came in at 4:30 pm and apologized for the delay and did the initial assessment. Dr. McFarland came in at 5:20 pm. Almost 2 hours late.

Dr McFarland is in my pantheon of hero's.

I had to wait 2 hours from my appointment time before he came in. Was advised he was running one hour behind when checked in but it actually a 2 hour wait for a 10 minute visit with him.

Dr McFarland is wonderful! He explained things fully and talked to me at my level. He was so caring, gentle, and personable! I wish more health care providers were like him. He gave me useful information about dealing with my problem and follow-up care.

Dr. McFarland is the best there is in his specialty. He has saved me from a lifetime of excruciating pain, I am so grateful to have him as my physician.
