Dr. Edith Dietz is a general pediatrician who works in primary care at The Children's Medical Practice at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center and in Johns Hopkins Bayview's combined Pediatric ER and Inpatient Unit. Her undergraduate degree was in Anthropology at UNC-Chapel Hill. She then worked in Massachusetts at a child abuse hotline, then spent 2 years in Gabon, Central Africa as a Peace Corps Volunteer (community health). She completed medical school at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in 2011 and pediatric residency at the Johns Hopkins Children's Center in 2014. 

Dr. Dietz has been working at Johns Hopkins Bayview since 2014, and loves working in a community hospital that is part of a world-class medical institution. She enjoys caring for children and families while teaching medical students and residents. She is particularly passionate about providing high quality care to immigrant children and families. She speaks English and Spanish.
