This was the first time seeing him. I could see him again

Under the circumstances, this was one of my best experiences with a medical providers. Dr. Silverman was very kind and understanding and explained everything to me in a way that worked with my anxiety on that day and my overall personality. I really appreciate the information he provided to me at the appointment which was very clear and direct. It meant a lot to me that he called me directly with the results of my test.

Dr Silverman was knowledgeable, personable and well-informed. This was my first visit with him as my new gynecologist and I was very concerned about a potential prolapse diagnosis. He took a very long time listening to me, asking me appropriate questions and explaining his medical diagnosis. DUring the actual gynecological exam, he was gentle and thorough; explaining everything he was doing. I was very anxious and concerned about my condition and nervous about starting with a new gynecologist. He put my mind at ease and calmed me down. He took a long time getting to know me and addressing my concerns.

Dr. Silverman is a wonderful GYN. I will very much miss him as an OB, but I still go to him for GYN concerns outside of pregnancy. Dr. Silverman goes above and beyond with his patients. The visits are never rushed, he takes the time to really get to know and understand his patients and their concerns, has great bedside manners, and has a way of making uncomfortable appointments more comfortable. He also has a lot of experience and for all these reasons I very much trust and respect him as my doctor.

Great bedside manner

My GP recommended Dr. Silverman as very experienced for my specific problems. He was very patient and kind and made me feel extremely comfortable for my first visit with him. Any question I asked he was able to explain all my options available and explained each one with experience and expertise. I went feeling somewhat nervous but left feeling totally comfortable and much more educated about my problems. I really like him and feel absolutely certain I am going to the right Doctor for me.

He's soft spoken and puts any apprehension and uncomfortableness at ease. Let's face it, next to your dentist the GYN is the last doctor you want to visit. Dr. Silverman has the uncanny ability to put patients at ease. I live in Pennsylvania and choose to continue to come to Maryland for all my doctor visits, because great doctors are very hard to find. Dr. Silverman is one of those great doctors.
