Dr. Bland is an affiliate associate professor in the USF Morsani College of Medicine Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine. Dr. Bland is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Florida Orthopaedic Society, and the Pinellas and Hillsborough County Medical Societies.
Dr. Bland has a special interest in the orthopaedic manifestations of neuromuscular diseases such as cerebral palsy and patients with complex lower extremity deformities, which includes osteogenesis imperfecta.
Dr. Bland earned his medical degree at the Duke University School of Medicine and completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. He completed a pediatric orthopaedics and scoliosis fellowship at the Rady Children’s Hospital/University of California, San Diego.
