Daniel A. Bernstein, MD

Gastroenterologist and hepatologist Daniel Bernstein specializes in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal and liver diseases, with clinical experience in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy.

He cares for patients diagnosed with a variety of gastrointestinal and liver-related disorders, including alcohol-associated liver disease, viral hepatitis, autoimmune liver disease, metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease, abnormal liver tests, cirrhosis, portal hypertension and post-liver transplant care.

Dr. Bernstein earned his medical degree from the Emory University School of Medicine, where he was awarded the Robert W. Woodruff Fellowship in Medicine. He subsequently completed his residency in internal medicine, as well as fellowship training in gastroenterology and transplant hepatology at Duke University.
