Background
Dr. Craig A. Miller is an orthopaedic surgeon affiliated with Sibley Memorial Hospital, as well as the section chairman of orthopaedic surgery at Shady Grove Hospital. He practices out of OrthoBethesda in Bethesda, Md.
Dr. Miller has an expertise in sports medicine, shoulder replacement surgery and arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder, elbow and knee. He is specially trained in reconstruction of the athlete’s shoulder and elbow, with techniques such as Tommy John surgery, rotator cuff repair and biceps repair surgery. Dr. Miller also has an expertise in meniscus surgery, ACL reconstruction, dislocating patella correction, PCL reconstruction and knee multi-ligament reconstruction.
Dr. Miller earned his medical degree from George Washington University School of Medicine. He completed a residency in orthopaedic surgery at the Hospital for Joint Diseases Orthopaedic Institute, followed by a fellowship in sports medicine at the Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic.
Dr. Miller has served as an assistant team physician for the Washington Nationals baseball team. He is a team physician for Wootton High School, Northwest High School and The Heights.
