Background
Christopher L. Robinson is a physician-scientist and Assistant Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, specializing in regenerative medicine, drug discovery, and outcome prediction. He completed his fellowship in interventional pain medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and his anesthesiology residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, teaching hospitals of Harvard Medical School. He earned his dual MD/PhD degree through the Tri-Institutional Program at Weill Cornell Medical College, The Rockefeller University, and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where his doctoral work contributed to groundbreaking antiviral drug discoveries alongside the recipient of the 2020 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from Georgetown University.
Dr. Robinson currently co-directs the Massachusetts General Brigham–Harvard Pain and Headache Grand Rounds, serves as editor for 10 academic journals, and has authored over 150 peer-reviewed publications, with primary contributions to the field of pain medicine.
