Cecil Qiu, MD

Cecil Qiu is a plastic surgeon with broad clinical interests spanning reconstructive and aesthetic surgery, with additional expertise in microsurgery and peripheral nerve surgery. He is dedicated to delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care that integrates functional restoration with refined aesthetic outcomes, applying principles of form, symmetry and natural appearance across the full spectrum of plastic surgery procedures. His practice areas include reconstruction after trauma and cancer, as well as gender affirming care, aesthetics and body contouring after weight loss.

Qiu obtained his medical degree from the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. He completed his plastic and reconstructive surgery residency at Johns Hopkins, where he trained extensively in both reconstructive and aesthetic procedures involving the face, breast, extremities and body. He was among the first in his residency program to graduate early, reflecting his exceptional performance and advanced clinical proficiency. Qiu’s research focuses on innovations in plastic surgery that optimize functional outcomes in extremity reconstruction.
