Dr. Burkholder was attentive and listened, but she was also assured, confident, and thoughtful in her diagnostic and treatment approach. I had been diagnosed with uveitis by a local ophthalmologist in Reno, Nevada who was afraid of the diagnosis and wasn't able to give me a real treatment plan. That's why I came to Hopkins. The difference with Dr. Burkholder is night and day.
