Dr. Piazza is a pediatric orthopaedic surgeon at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. He sees patients in the St. Petersburg, Tampa and Lakewood Ranch locations of Children's Orthopaedic and Scoliosis Surgery Associates (COSSA), L.L.P.

COSSA is the exclusive provider of pediatric orthopaedic services at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital.  

Dr. Piazza is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery and Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America. His clinical interests include all aspects of pediatric orthopaedics with a special interest in pediatric orthopaedic trauma, lower extremity deformity, sports medicine, complex lower extremity reconstruction and disorders of the foot and ankle.  

Dr. Piazza earned his medical degree from Penn State College of Medicine in Hershey, Pennsylvania. He then completed an internship and orthopaedic surgery residency at Penn State College of Medicine. He also completed a fellowship in pediatric orthopaedic surgery at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. He also earned a master’s degree in biomedical engineering at Duke University.
