Background
Dr. Brian Holly is an assistant professor of radiology and radiological science. Dr. Holly's clinical focus lies in venous thromboembolic disease. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of deep venous thrombosis, pulmonary embolism, post thrombotic syndrome; advanced venous interventions including prostatic artery embolization (PAE); IVC filter removal; treatment of vascular malformations; treatment of uterine fibroids and advanced biliary interventions.
Dr. Holly received his M.D. from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in 2007. He completed an internship in internal medicine at Mercy Medical Center in 2008. He completed residency in radiology in 2012 at the University of Maryland Medical Center. This was followed by a fellowship in vascular and interventional radiology in 2013 at The Johns Hopkins Hospital.
He is a member of the Society of Interventional Radiology.

I feel incredibly lucky to have met Dr. Holly and was able to undergo the PAE procedure. The results have literally changed my life for the better. I definitely would recommend having the PAE procedure performed by Dr. Holly and his expert team at Johns Hopkins to anyone suffering with BPH!

Provider was a specialist whose scope of care focused on an interventional radiology procedure. The provider was not the regular provider I see, however, the provider was definitely the one I would see for care within their specialty.

The process started with my contacting family friend and classmate, [staff], Chief of Surgery at JHMIC. He in turn,[staff] contacted interventional radiologist Brian Holly about fast-tracking me for my enlarged prostate.. I received royal treatment In both, getting to see him In just a a few days, having the ct-span performed treatment, the explanation of the procedure - prostatic arterial embolization.
