Dr Blanken is equipped and qualified to surgically treat all pathology of the foot and ankle. Not all problems require surgery, and Dr. Blanken firmly believes that surgery should only be pursued if conservative management fails to meet the patients' specific goals. If your foot and ankle problem is causing pain or weakness that makes you unable to reach your goals, conservative modalities including but not limited to bracing, injections, oral and topical medications, and physical therapy will be exhausted before a patient specific surgical plan is recommended. Dr. Brandon Blanken has a special interest in treating athletes, foot and ankle trauma from sprains to fracture care and reconstruction of arthritic and or flat feet.
