Benjamin E Stein, MD

Dr. Benjamin E. Stein is an orthopaedic surgeon at Sibley Memorial Hospital. He practices out of Orthopaedic Medicine and Surgery, located in Washington D.C.

Dr. Stein has an expertise in foot and ankle orthopaedics, as well as arthroplasty and sports medicine.

Dr. Stein earned his medical degree from George Washington University School of Medicine. He completed a residency at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine where he was appointed administrative chief resident, followed by a fellowship at Union Memorial Hospital.

Dr. Stein has cared for athletes of all levels, including the Baltimore Orioles and the Johns Hopkins University Varsity teams.  Dr. Stein is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society. He has been awarded the Frank L. Coulson, Jr. Award for Clinical Excellence.

Dr. Stein has completed a research study in comparing Evans and Hintermann lateral column lengthening, as well as contributed to various orthopaedic publications, posters and presentations.
