Dr. Annie Antar is an assistant professor of medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.  Her areas of clinical expertise include internal medicine and infectious diseases.  Her areas of research expertise include long COVID, long COVID in people living with HIV, HIV cure, and suboptimal CD4 response after antiretroviral therapy.

Dr. Antar earned her undergraduate degree from Harvard University and her M.D. and Ph.D. degrees from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine.  She completed both her residency in internal medicine and fellowship in infectious diseases at the Johns Hopkins Hospital.
