Dr. Angeliki Filippatou specializes in the diagnosis, management and treatment of neuroimmunological disorders with a particular focus on multiple sclerosis (MS). Her research focuses on the development of innovative prognostic and monitoring biomarkers for MS and related neuroimmunological conditions, including the integration of emerging digital health tools into disease tracking.
Dr. Filippatou earned her medical degree from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece and went on to complete her neurology residency at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. She pursued subspecialty fellowship training in neuroimmunology at Johns Hopkins. Her fellowship training was supported by the National Institutes of Health/ National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke and the National MS Society.
