Andrew Schulick, M.D., F.A.C.S. is a Vascular and General Surgeon with the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Johns Hopkins University and graduated from Yale University School of Medicine with honors. He completed his General Surgery Residency and Vascular Surgery Fellowship at the Massachusetts General Hospital, the main teaching hospital for Harvard Medical School. He has been included in Castle-Connolly’s list of “Top Doctors” every year since 2006, and in Washingtonian Magazine as one of the top vascular surgeons in the Washington D.C. area.

    Dr Schulick endovascular stent graft repair of my AAA is nearing 5 years with no subsequent complications. I would seek him out again for other surgeries and highly recommend him without reservation to others.

    Doctor Schulick performed emergency surgery after clearly and humanely explaining the procedure. He clearly is an exceptionally talented surgeon; he also showed great compassion and competence in several visits he made to me after the surgery. He answered all my questions, including some that I had not articulated. I cannot praise him enough.

    Dr. Schulick provided a prescription for medical compression stockings and ordered an exam to rule out vein issues even though he stated he does not believe that was causing issues with my legs. He wanted to rule out blood clots in my legs. Dr.Schulick suggested I see a chiropractor because my spine could be sitting on a nerve that is causing the pain my legs.

    I was seen by the provider and had a procedure while I was on dialysis. Now almost 20 months after kidney transplant I was worried about my fistula. Dr. Schulick was very attentive, examined the fistula manually and listened to the thrill. He was kind, professional, addressing my concerns and reassuring.

    I was referred to Dr Schulick by my internal medicine doctor for a check of a possible vascular problem. He and his very thorough PA did their exams and released me with an order for a ultrasound. They couldn't have been more professional. No complaints.
