Amy Eapen was very professional and explained each part of the audiology assessment to me as it was conducted. This certainly helped to relieve my anxiety during the testing process. After the test, she carefully explained the results and answered my questions about the assessment.

My experience there and in general with Hopkins providers is they are rushed, impersonal and unless pressed, they don't tell you anything. It's just in/out over. As a patient I don't appreciate that. If I weren't assertive, I wouldn't get the info I need. The My Chart is NOT a substitute for bedside manner. No matter how clinically excellent the Dr is, they need to be humanistically excellent too. Good medicine requires both.
