Alan Richard Morrison, DO

Dr. Alan R. Morrison is an internist affiliated with Sibley Memorial Hospital and Suburban Hospital. Dr. Morrison has a private practice in Washington, D.C.

Dr. Morrison earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland and his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree at the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences. He completed an internship in internal medicine at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, followed by a residency in internal medicine at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Dr. Morrison also completed a fellowship in adolescent and young adult medicine at Children’s National Medical Center. Dr. Morrison then joined the faculty at Nova Southeastern University and served as an assistant professor of medicine for almost five years.

Dr. Morrison has been named a Top MD by Consumers’ Checkbook Magazine and Washingtonian Magazine. He is a fellow of the American College of Physicians. 

Dr. Morrison has presented at local and regional scientific conferences and has contributed to various publications. Dr. Morrison has also appeared in the media as a featured medical consultant.
