Background

Katelyn Uribe is a maternal-fetal medicine specialist with an interest in multiple gestations, fetal medicine and fetal intervention, and complex care coordination. She is a native of Baltimore, Maryland, and is thrilled to serve her community.

Dr. Uribe received her undergraduate degree from Dickinson College and her medical degree from Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University. She completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency and maternal-fetal medicine fellowship at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. Over her years of training at Johns Hopkins, she has developed a passion for caring for the most medically complex patients and fetuses, and has honed her skills in complex obstetric surgery and ultrasound — particularly operative vaginal delivery, vaginal delivery of twins, and ultrasound evaluation of complex multiple gestations.

Her research interests include predicting and optimizing outcomes in complex twin pregnancies and improving clinical outcomes for preterm neonates as an obstetric provider. Dr. Uribe has authored several publications on these topics and is actively involved in ongoing clinical trials and research within the maternal-fetal medicine division. When not working, Dr. Uribe enjoys passing time in the city with her husband and children.
