James Chung, OD, MS

Dr. Chung is originally from sunny Southern California's Temple City. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and a minor in music from University of California, Santa Barbara. Dr. Chung received his Doctor of Optometry and Master in Vision Science at The Ohio State University College of Optometry, where he graduated summa cum laude and was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honor Society. Dr. Chung was also the national president of the American Optometric Student Association during his time as an optometry student.

As a resident, Dr. Chung provides comprehensive eye examinations, specialty contact lens fittings, ocular surface disease, ocular disease management, and triaging complex ocular pathologies. He is enthusiastic about research and the advancement of optometry and eye care. Dr. Chung is passionate about providing thorough patient care and advocating for better eye care access so that patients can better understand their eyes and vision.
