Dr. Shin has a warm, professional bed-side manner that makes you feel that she really is rooting for you and cares about both your physical health and mental well-being. She provides detailed, easy-to-understand feedback, and makes sure that all of your concerns are addressed.

She is the best gastroenterologist and may have saved my life.

Dr Shin seems to be a good doctor, I was sort of hoping for a different approach to my treatment but she seemed to follow the same approach as other doctors have followed, so I was a little disappointed that coming to Johns Hopkins I didn't get any different advice or care than I got from other doctors.

I could tell she had spent much time reading through my health history that I had sent to the office. More than other providers.

This provider is new to me. I am thrilled with her. She is careful, organized, a great communicator, and I feel an immediate sense of trust.

I know she must be very busy, and does not have the time to explain very much to me.
